Not only do we help match youth with mentors, each year supporters fund educational scholarships for former Littles or High School Bigs. They range from $250 to $1,000 per year. Those that receive scholarships must provide proof of acceptable grades once enrolled in college and provide a semi-annual update on progress to the agency.
These scholarships come to us from a variety of different organizations, foundations and individuals who are concerned about youth in the Central Valley. They recognize that our youth not only need someone who believes in their abilities, but they also need crucial funds to be able to achieve their education goals. Without these donors and supporters our youth would be less equipped to strive for the best in their lives. We at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California would like to thank them for their generosity:
Briscoe Family Foundation
Wally Emerian Memorial Fund

The Big Brothers Big Sisters scholarship is available to all Littles, former Littles, and High School Bigs.
