The safety of all children in the program is our first concern.
That’s why we require fingerprints of all volunteers and check national and local criminal and sexual abuse databases to make sure no person threatens your child’s well being.
We also get three references from each potential volunteer, do home interviews, and look for red flags that might indicate a potential problem.
In addition, our staff are mandated reporters of suspected child abuse. If a mentor or parent/caregiver has any concerns about possible abuse or neglect, please contact us. We will report the issue to the appropriate agency.
In emergency situations after regular business hours, please call your Match Support Specialist or 559-288-4082.
