Not only do we help match youth with mentors, each year some supporters fund educational scholarships for Littles or High School Bigs. They range from $250 to $1,000 per year. Those that receive scholarships must provide proof of acceptable grades once enrolled in college and provide a semi-annual update on progress to the agency.
Applications are typically submitted March through April. Decisions are announced in late May at the Annual Spring Splash event held at the Wild Waters Adventure Park. The Big Brothers Big Sisters scholarship is available to all Littles, and High School Bigs. Please contact the Program Director, Diane Phakonekham, via email at dphak@bigs.org for an application.
